Enuresis is the disease of bed wetting, by which a person or a conscious younger feels more shame. This type of disease to the Childs must relate to its first degree relatives, those who also have such a problem with bed wetting. By knowing this the child feel less stressed about the situation. The doctor’s have studied that its 20% of the children at age 5 wet their beds, only 5% do so by age 10, and 2% by age 15. An unfortunate one out of 100 childhood bedwetters continues till to adulthood.

There are some common causes for it which is very simple. Taking into consideration there is one cause which is a delay in the maturation of the part of the nervous system that controls bladder function. There is also another factor which causes bedwetting is psychological problems or medical disorders, such as diabetes, urinary tract infection etc.

Never be harassed about bedwetting before the age of 6 in children, because they are totally untrained about toilet training. Do not give harsh punishment to a child who wets his or her bed. This happens automatically not by knowing it or by laziness. This type of things shaming a child and can lead to poor self-esteem and feeling of low self worth.

You have to make confident and encourage your child. You have to take some steps like help your child in stripping the bed, putting the sheets in the laundry. This will show that you are not angry on him. All this you have to do in a calm manner.

You have to take some steps that you have to withhold bedtime drinks, because it will decreases the urine volume in the bladder. If not these things prevent the problem completely you have to do these things .Again you have to deny or never give soft drinks like soda or caffeine containing drinks to the bedwetting children because that will help to increase urine production.

There is also some tips that you may ask to your health care provider about drug alternatives such as DDAVP, it is a simple nasal spray that can be delivered before bedtime .This DDAVP has the power to stop bedwetting in 60-75% of children . But mind it; it is not a permanent remedy. It may tend to recur after stopping this.

If after the age of 6 this process continues then consult with your health care provider and take the steps told by him. Bedwetting of child’s does not have shocking for them or it will distress for you. It will not affect to them or with their maturation and growth.
